This is still a little more loud than other models, but it is significantly quieter than older fridges we have tested that produced quite a lot of noise when running.
Swan has kept the design simple which is an advantage when it comes to user-friendliness. The fridge is equipped with an LED bulb light as well as an adjustable thermostat for temperature. The temperature was consistent. The middle and top shelves varied only by a few degree either side of the average and the salad drawer was at 2oC. It was very hot in the back. This could be an issue if you reside in a room that is hotter.

The Swan is quite quiet, despite being a compressor model that is traditional. We measured it at a moderate 42dB when it was running. It's considerably quieter than models from 10 years ago and far quieter than most of the refrigerator freezers we've tested in our Best Buy chart.
This refrigerator also had a high degree of temperature stability. The average temperature of the upper shelf, middle and lower shelves was within a few degrees of the maximum. The temperature in the salad drawer fluctuated between 5oC to just under freezing.
The fridge also requires manual defrosting from time time, but it's classified as A+ in energy efficiency. This makes it the most energy-efficient fridge freezer on our Best Buy chart. It will keep your electricity bills low.
This is an excellent illustration of how Swan can offer attractive retro designs at affordable cost. The SR11010 looks great and is available in a wide spectrum of colours, from the subtle pastel blue we tested to more dramatic red, pink and orange.
